The redevelopment of the former Electrical Engineering building for the University of Tasmania will be the new campus for school of nursing and midwifery. Works consisted of a full refurbishment of the old Electrical Engineering building and construction of a new link connected it to the Waterworth Building. The project required extensive demolition and asbestos removal, and involved the installation of complex services within an existing building. Teaching areas include functional treatment rooms and wards.
