Tattersalls Hotel – The Hanging Gardens / The Alter

Macquarie Builders were successful in securing multiple contracts on the Tattersalls Hotel redevelopment site in Hobart, in order to have the site operational for Dark Mofo 2019. Works consisted of fabricating and erecting the main steel Cathedral structure in the courtyard, as well as works inside the existing building. Two bars, The Hanging Garden & The Altar, were constructed as part of the works package, including set up of the permanent shipping containers. The project was successfully completed on a tight program so that Dark Mofo could operate at the location on opening night.
